Edgar Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Flores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. BIAMAR's Mariano Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Roriz in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Ribeiro came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Márcio Ribeiro got free with Ignatius Casasola in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adriano Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Mariano Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Roriz in the 30th minute of the match. When Israel Faria came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the BIAMAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Faria couldn't finish the play. After 36 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by 龙然明. Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Garanhão do SUL from getting a goal against them. André Roriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Flores having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Costa to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Edgar Costa made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in BIAMAR's zone, André Roriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Flores came out of the goal and André Roriz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BIAMAR made a substitution. Bernardo Silva replaced İslam Özoğuz. BIAMAR's Jose Orlando was substituted for Angelo Mendonça. André Roriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Faria came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's Fábio Lobato got a free kick in the 67th minute. BIAMAR's Jimeno Theodore was substituted for Tobiasz Bubczyk. Garanhão do SUL made a substitution. Angel Edorta replaced 龙然明. After 68 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Lobato.
