Red Proud FC's Lartaun Ibar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Red Proud FC from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute Romeo Lechințan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Guterres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 09's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Chico came free, but Ivo Guterres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lartaun Ibar made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Abílio Passos sent off a good shot on target. Ivo Guterres made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Romeo Lechințan sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the game, SC Freiburg 09's Raul Leal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lartaun Ibar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After 75 minutes, Aipytos Stavropoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red Proud FC and the SC Freiburg 09 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Freiburg 09 booed when Red Proud FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position.
