Carlos Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lisandro Festas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Patrik Beaton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30th play minutes Carlos Garcia shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Lisandro Festas and just under the crossbar into goal. Lisandro Festas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Garcia in the 33rd minute. Zé Gato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Beaton in the 37th minute of the match. Carlos Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Garcia got free with Lisandro Festas in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, SITIO CITY's Jens-Erik Bryngelsson got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 50th minute, Jens-Erik Bryngelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Noel Marinho charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noel Marinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Hildeberto Cortez. SITIO CITY's Zé Gato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save SITIO CITY from getting a goal against them. When Luís Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the SITIO CITY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Lisandro Festas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
