The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Amílcar Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lartaun Ibar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bai Shi Ao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Red Proud FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wiliam Queiroz was slow to take the kick. During this time Suprs Academia's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Suprs Academia's corner Bai Shi Ao fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lartaun Ibar quite easily take care of the ball. In the 10th minute, Diogo Velasques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Proud FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Suprs Academia's Deng Liang Yao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Chico in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match Suprs Academia got a corner. Red Proud FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wiliam Queiroz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Suprs Academia's corner Wiliam Queiroz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lartaun Ibar quite easily take care of the ball. Romeo Lechințan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Suprs Academia booed when Red Proud FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Chico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Du Yuan Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lartaun Ibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Macit Sağıt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Red Proud FC's Lartaun Ibar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Red Proud FC from getting a goal against them. Deng Liang Yao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Chico in the 34th minute of the match. Hernan Chico took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Deng Liang Yao. Deng Liang Yao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 37th minute of the match Suprs Academia got a corner. Red Proud FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wiliam Queiroz was slow to take the kick. During this time Suprs Academia's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Wiliam Queiroz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Red Proud FC's Lartaun Ibar did a great save. A collision led to Red Proud FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Romeo Lechințan hit a great ball. Suprs Academia's Macit Sağıt came free and shot a quick shot against goal 43 minutes in the game, fortunately Lartaun Ibar had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The supporters of Red Proud FC booed when Suprs Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roderick Potvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Red Proud FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Amílcar Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lartaun Ibar having to interfere. In the 60thth minute of the game Macit Sağıt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Proud FC's Lartaun Ibar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Suprs Academia's Macit Sağıt in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red Proud FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Red Proud FC's Yuri Castilho got a free kick in the 64th minute. Lartaun Ibar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macit Sağıt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Macit Sağıt made a precise shot to the right of Lartaun Ibar. Red Proud FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Red Proud FC's Romeo Lechințan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Deng Liang Yao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lartaun Ibar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Du Yuan Chao's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Macit Sağıt sped through Red Proud FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lartaun Ibar. Hernan Chico kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Macit Sağıt in the 92nd minute of play forced Red Proud FC's goalkeeper Lartaun Ibar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnny Gustavsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Suprs Academia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Red Proud FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
