Januário Rangel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Lixandro in the 6th minute of play. Qiu Chuan Ran made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Ricardo Guerra sent off a good shot on target. Januário Rangel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Ventura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Guerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Qiu Chuan Ran made a huge save. Januário Rangel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Lixandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When MEXACOMX's Ricardo Guerra in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalie prevented a goal. After 21st play minutes Ricardo Guerra shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Qiu Chuan Ran and just under the crossbar into goal. Qiu Chuan Ran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Guerra's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Ricardo Guerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qiu Chuan Ran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. MEXACOMX's Ricardo Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Januário Rangel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Lixandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. were awarded a corner. Israel Carvalhal went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Israel Carvalhal to fire away a dangerous shot which Januário Rangel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The corner led to Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gonzalo Lixandro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.

The wind increased when Ricardo Guerra made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Lixandro in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Januário Rangel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Qiu Chuan Ran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Qiu Chuan Ran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Ricardo Guerra notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran. Qiu Chuan Ran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Gonzalo Lixandro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Januário Rangel was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Gonzalo Lixandro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wu Liang Mo in the 66th minute of play. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. made a substitution. Modesto Bras replaced Israel Carvalhal. In the 69th minute Ricardo Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Chuan Ran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. booed when MEXACOMX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Anaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Ventura had several of the MEXACOMX's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Januário Rangel as he didn't even see the shot coming. Raimundo Ventura let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 78th minute shot 3-2 at rihgt post. After a defensive mix-up in MEXACOMX's zone, Raimundo Ventura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Januário Rangel came out of the goal and Raimundo Ventura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
