Januário Rangel came out and tried to block the shot, but Şükrü Yazargil slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. Anselmo Gama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Januário Rangel made an important save on a dangerous shot by De-Jesús Haaland in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by De-Jesús Haaland. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and De-Jesús Haaland made a kick off. Angelo Assunção struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Januário Rangel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MACAU. F.C. Januário Rangel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from De-Jesús Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. MACAU. In the 95thth minute of the game Albino Cugat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
