With a little luck, A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Timmy Standaerts got control of the ball when Carlos Garcia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA defense, Carlos Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timmy Standaerts. The A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timmy Standaerts should have stopped the shot. Carlos Garcia took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timmy Standaerts. Timmy Standaerts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's goalkeeper Timmy Standaerts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Garcia. In the 22nd match minute, A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Puglielli to maneuver through the defense. Timmy Standaerts was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Jens-Erik Bryngelsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jens-Erik Bryngelsson really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After having played for 26 minutes, Carlos Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SITIO CITY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timmy Standaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Garcia in the 28th minute of play. The SITIO CITY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Gato should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Corrado Puglielli got a free kick in the 34th minute. Carlos Garcia took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timmy Standaerts. Timmy Standaerts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 40 minutes into the game, A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Abel Castelo Branco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Gato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Castelo Branco in the 43rd minute of play forced SITIO CITY's goalkeeper Zé Gato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Erik Bryngelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Timmy Standaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Carlos Garcia made the kick off in the second half. Corrado Puglielli made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Isidoro Palma however managed to control. In the 59th minute, Carlos Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SITIO CITY fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when SITIO CITY's Luís Carvalho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Timmy Standaerts came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by SITIO CITY's Luís Carvalho. But to his dismay, Luís Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-2. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's goalkeeper Timmy Standaerts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
