In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Nuno Bragança left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Freiburg 09 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lisandro Festas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abílio Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Freiburg 09's zone, Luís Ribas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivo Guterres came out of the goal and Luís Ribas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivo Guterres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Ribas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute of the match, Luís Ribas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ivo Guterres saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 42 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Bento Ribeiro. In the 48th minute of the match Mehmet Ferit İsmet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lisandro Festas skillfully saved the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Leal to make the kick off. SLB TELHA's Lisandro Festas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abílio Passos in the 51st minute of play. SC Freiburg 09 were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after SLB TELHA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mehmet Ferit İsmet took the corner. SC Freiburg 09's Mehmet Ferit İsmet was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lisandro Festas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivo Guterres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Ribas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abílio Passos charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abílio Passos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Tomé hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 67th match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Ivo Guterres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Ribas in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SLB TELHA's Noel Marinho got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 96th match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Chesus to maneuver through the defense. SC Freiburg 09 played a much better game than SLB TELHA and deserved their victory. The SLB TELHA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
