In the 54thth minute of the game Deilmison van Basten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olivedos's Yuri da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Gu Zhan Cheng in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Olivedos's Tony Schmidt. Olivedos's Yuri da Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Olivedos from getting a goal against them. Ricardinho Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Ralf Albäck was substituted for Betão Marquez. A collision led to ATHLETICO PRaiano getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Deilmison van Basten hit a great ball. Rodriguinho Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel de Godoi in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79th minute, Abel de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel de Godoi in the 82nd minute of play. Magno Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodriguinho Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Yuri da Cunha stood somewhat misplaced when Ralf Albäck came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 92 minute. The ATHLETICO PRaiano players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
