The audience was convinced that Yuri Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldo de Moraes was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the game, Vista Alegre FC's Galen Kvick nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After 12 played minutes Vista Alegre FC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Proença. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Gitano in the 13th minute of play forced Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Ronaldo de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Robustiano Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Femke Bol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Vista Alegre FC booed when Figueira SC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dadá Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Pastor Gitano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ronaldo de Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Robustiano Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dudu Magalhães who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Femke Bol when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Femke Bol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Clementi in the 31st minute of play. When Vista Alegre FC's Robustiano Clementi in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Robustiano Clementi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vista Alegre FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Clementi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Robustiano Clementi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Femke Bol. Robustiano Clementi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Galen Kvick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuri Reis was the one to do the kick off. Ronaldo de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Reis in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robustiano Clementi in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Femke Bol saved Figueira SC FSCMZ from getting behind. Robustiano Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Şakir Aydınoğlu was substituted for Pastor Gitano. Femke Bol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute Dudu Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Femke Bol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's goalkeeper Ronaldo de Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cássio Guimarães. Ronaldo de Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Clementi came free, but Femke Bol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Femke Bol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The supporters of Figueira SC FSCMZ booed when Vista Alegre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malin Koshkov made a great header on Figueira SC FSCMZ's corner, it was just that Vista Alegre FC's Ronaldo de Moraes managed to reach the ball for a save.
