In the 17th minute José Sand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilson Peres made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Wellington Pires sent off a good shot on target. Nilson Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wellington Pires in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Tomé Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austra 04 VFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomé Damião was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 46th minute, José Sand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hudson Gaúcho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half ITAFUT 4EVER were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when José Sand made the kick off in the second half. ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sócrates Silva in the 54th minute of play. In the 63rd minute José Sand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Austra 04 VFC's Hudson Gaúcho got control of the ball when José Sand tried to sneak it across the goal line. ITAFUT 4EVER's Jardel Baggio was substituted for José Sand. A nice corner shot did that Jardel Baggio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hudson Gaúcho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nilson Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sócrates Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodriguinho Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson Gaúcho having to interfere. ITAFUT 4EVER made a substitution. Boguslaw Tarasek replaced Rodriguinho Linhares. Hudson Gaúcho made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Jardel Baggio sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Austra 04 VFC's goalkeeper Hudson Gaúcho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jardel Baggio. In the 90th match minute, Austra 04 VFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Perez to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Jean-Paul Møffelmand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ITAFUT 4EVER played a much better game than Austra 04 VFC and deserved their victory. The Austra 04 VFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
