When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andy Cole to make the kick off. Andy Cole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 51 minutes into the match, Trindade Atlético Club's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Cole came free, but Tiaguinho Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Floresta Negra FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Harris Zoolingen hit a great ball. Tiaguinho Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Róbson Couto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egun Pais. Floresta Negra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Róbson Couto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Róbson Couto came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Trindade Atlético Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbson Couto couldn't finish the play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
