The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Vianna in the 7th minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Gino Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Romeo Cangeopol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Abel de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Ferraz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Olivedos's Yuri da Cunha got control of the ball when Gabriel Vinhas tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel de Godoi in the 24th minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Gino Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Vinhas in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuri da Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute of the game Tony Schmidt made a throw-in which Cássio Ferraz played forward. Romeo Cangeopol kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Gonzalo Parraga made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cássio Ferraz. When Abel de Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Olivedos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel de Godoi couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Relyn Futebol Clube booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Parraga made in the 45th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luís Novaes however managed to control. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel de Godoi to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Gino Velasco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 55 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Tony Schmidt. 58 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Vinhas came free, but Yuri da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Relyn Futebol Clube's Gabriel Vinhas in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Yuri da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Gabriel Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Relyn Futebol Clube's Gino Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel de Godoi in the 83rd minute of play. Ademar Meirelles hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Gino Velasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel de Godoi's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. The Olivedos players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Relyn Futebol Clube from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
