Hudson Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Albäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beila Mora in the 32nd minute of play forced ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Pires came free, but Rodriguinho Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Austra 04 VFC's Hudson Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 90th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans cheered their team off the field, for while Austra 04 VFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
