Lei Feng Yan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Abelardo Maranhense made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Abel de Godoi came free, but Aurelio Walme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel de Godoi spun around in front of the goal 64 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal. Aurelio Walme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel de Godoi's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Abelardo Maranhense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renato Augusto in the 66th minute.
