In the 5th minute Robustiano Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Clementi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelinho Abraão having to make a save. Jordy Hoes took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelinho Abraão. Marcelinho Abraão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Robustiano Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galen Kvick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Marcelinho Abraão made a huge save. Vista Alegre FC's Ronaldo de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Teixeira in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Karaboudjan's goalkeeper Marcelinho Abraão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robustiano Clementi. Aírton Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ronaldo de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karaboudjan's Marcelinho Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Karaboudjan from getting a goal against them. Rafael Godoi charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Godoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 37 minutes into the match, Karaboudjan's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Clementi came free, but Marcelinho Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dudu Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Karaboudjan booed when Vista Alegre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Galen Kvick didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Aírton Oliveira made a precise shot to the right of Ronaldo de Moraes. Vista Alegre FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dudu Magalhães was the one to do the kick off. Robustiano Clementi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelinho Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Clementi in the 57th minute of play forced Karaboudjan's goalkeeper Marcelinho Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelinho Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Clementi, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robustiano Clementi in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelinho Abraão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Karaboudjan defense, Robustiano Clementi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelinho Abraão. The Karaboudjan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelinho Abraão should have stopped the shot. Vista Alegre FC made a substitution. Norberto de Azevedo replaced Dudu Magalhães. Robustiano Clementi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelinho Abraão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robustiano Clementi's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, one of Karaboudjan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Karaboudjan. Robustiano Clementi scored 5-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelinho Abraão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Karaboudjan's zone, Norberto de Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelinho Abraão came out of the goal and Norberto de Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Robustiano Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vista Alegre FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Karaboudjan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
