In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronaldo de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Albäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. ATHLETICO PRaiano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vitor Beckenbauer in the 6th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ralf Albäck got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ronaldo de Moraes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 7th minute of the match ATHLETICO PRaiano got a corner. Vista Alegre FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vitor Beckenbauer ran over to the corner to take the kick. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Vitor Beckenbauer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ronaldo de Moraes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Robustiano Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Gu Zhan Cheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodriguinho Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Clementi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldo de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 21st minute of play. If Dudu Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. Igor Souza made a great header on Vista Alegre FC's corner, it was just that ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 43 minutes, Ralf Albäck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATHLETICO PRaiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralf Albäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Robustiano Clementi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodriguinho Sousa having to make a save. Robustiano Clementi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but Ronaldo de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 68 in the game by Deilmison van Basten from a close distance when the talented Ronaldo de Moraes managed to make a qualified save. Vista Alegre FC's players were relieved. Ronaldo de Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deilmison van Basten's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deilmison van Basten in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldo de Moraes saved Vista Alegre FC from getting behind. In the 82nd minute, Luiz Gustavo Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vista Alegre FC's Lex Nelis was substituted for Igor Souza. A collision led to Vista Alegre FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo Vergílio hit a great ball. Ronaldo de Moraes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Deilmison van Basten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 84 minute of play. Ralf Albäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Vista Alegre FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ATHLETICO PRaiano's performance. The match ended with a win for ATHLETICO PRaiano.
