Ulryk Borowski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. After 11 played minutes GÓRNIK PSZÓW got a freekick which was hit by Marek Slazak. Konrad Bubczyk made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Jose Manuel López sent off a good shot on target. If Damian Majewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, Mattis Magic Team's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Majewski came free, but Konrad Bubczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Luis Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Raszek, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Damian Majewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Konrad Bubczyk having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Damian Majewski could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Konrad Bubczyk however easily saved by the left post. Juan Luis Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roch Komornicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Mattis Magic Team were awarded a corner. Tibor Horváth went to the cornerflag to take it. Tibor Horváth made a great header on Mattis Magic Team's corner, it was just that GÓRNIK PSZÓW's Juan Luis Carneiro managed to reach the ball for a save. When Maurício Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Mattis Magic Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício Trigo couldn't finish the play. Juan Luis Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bennvar Elin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Luis Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Komornicki in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurício Trigo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Luis Carneiro saved GÓRNIK PSZÓW from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in GÓRNIK PSZÓW's zone, Roch Komornicki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Luis Carneiro came out of the goal and Roch Komornicki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Trigo in the 43rd minute of play forced GÓRNIK PSZÓW's goalkeeper Juan Luis Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Luis Carneiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roch Komornicki went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Mattis Magic Team were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Bennvar Elin got free with Juan Luis Carneiro in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Majewski in the 57th minute of play forced Mattis Magic Team's goalkeeper Konrad Bubczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattis Magic Team's Konrad Bubczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Majewski in the 72nd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, GÓRNIK PSZÓW's Damian Majewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konrad Bubczyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elvin Sexton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian Majewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juan Luis Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oriol Torrecillas, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Damian Majewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Konrad Bubczyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Damian Majewski took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konrad Bubczyk. Konrad Bubczyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Bennvar Elin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mattis Magic Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Bennvar Elin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Luis Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
