In the 5th minute Barry McCray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonard Czciborek kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarmo Laik in the 9th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luo Wei Xi in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Winszman saved Modlau from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Barry McCray came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Modlau's goalkeeper Sebastian Winszman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Klas Jansson. In the 19th minute Barry McCray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luo Wei Xi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Andy Symons managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joga Bonito's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Symons was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Winszman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andy Symons's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Winszman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Damazy Jucha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Boruc having to make a save. 29 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Jucha came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Winszman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luo Wei Xi in the 31st minute. If Klas Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry McCray in the 35th minute of play. Alejo Eleazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Winszman having to interfere. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominic Salazar in the 39th minute of play. Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry McCray in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Modlau getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Yanislav Lechev hit a great ball. Leonard Czciborek charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Czciborek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leonard Czciborek hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarmo Laik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klas Jansson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Sebastian Winszman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Modlau booed when Joga Bonito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludomil Czaplicki didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luo Wei Xi made a kick off. Sebastian Winszman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luo Wei Xi in the 52nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarmo Laik in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Boruc saved Joga Bonito from getting behind. Yanislav Lechev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Boruc having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Eleazar came free, but Sebastian Winszman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Boruc made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Dominic Salazar sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luo Wei Xi in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Winszman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boleslaw Slazak kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Modlau's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
