The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry McCray in the 14th minute of play forced Fen Revas's goalkeeper Gwidon Zecman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Modlau's Jarmo Laik in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fen Revas's goalie prevented a goal. The Modlau fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Modlau's Barry McCray looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Salazar in the 19th minute of play forced Fen Revas's goalkeeper Gwidon Zecman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwidon Zecman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarmo Laik in the 20th minute of play. Modlau's Lew Yashin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Modlau from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucjan Dziewulski got free with Lew Yashin in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 25 in the game by Lucjan Dziewulski from a close distance when the talented Lew Yashin managed to make a qualified save. Modlau's players were relieved. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Lew Yashin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 25 minutes into the match, Lucjan Dziewulski notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Modlau's Lew Yashin. Lew Yashin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute Barry McCray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Zecman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gwidon Zecman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Jucha in the 36th minute of the match. Gwidon Zecman came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Modlau's Jarmo Laik. But to his dismay, Jarmo Laik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jarmo Laik was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Dziewulski came free, but Lew Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Fen Revas's goalkeeper Gwidon Zecman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barry McCray. Modlau's Lew Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Dziewulski in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Czeszejko in the 65th minute of play forced Modlau's goalkeeper Lew Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Mikolaj Zahemski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gwidon Zecman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominic Salazar went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the match, Fen Revas's goalkeeper Gwidon Zecman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barry McCray. Fen Revas's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jarmo Laik 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-8. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucjan Dziewulski in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lew Yashin saved Modlau from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded Modlau left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fen Revas.
