An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry McCray in the 3rd minute of play forced SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goalkeeper Maksymilian Oliszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maksymilian Oliszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry McCray in the 7th minute of the match. After some careless play in the SMOCZANKA MIELEC defense, Barry McCray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maksymilian Oliszewski. The SMOCZANKA MIELEC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maksymilian Oliszewski should have stopped the shot. Lew Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Jucha came free, but Maksymilian Oliszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lew Yashin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Giraldo in the 16th minute. Maksymilian Oliszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry McCray in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Modlau's Wincenty Mochowak got a free kick in the 21st minute. Cezary Chrzan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lew Yashin. Modlau's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Modlau's Zula Puszynski got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cezary Chrzan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Lew Yashin made a huge save. Lew Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Lewandowski in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry McCray in the 32nd minute of play forced SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goalkeeper Maksymilian Oliszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Giraldo in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lew Yashin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the match, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Barry McCray came free, but Maksymilian Oliszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarmo Laik in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maksymilian Oliszewski saved SMOCZANKA MIELEC from getting behind. 48 minutes into the match, Roberto Lewandowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lew Yashin, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jarmo Laik made a kick off. Modlau's Lew Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Lewandowski in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Jucha in the 58th minute of play forced SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goalkeeper Maksymilian Oliszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barry McCray got free with Maksymilian Oliszewski in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maksymilian Oliszewski made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Jarmo Laik sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute Oscar Giraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lew Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Oscar Giraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lew Yashin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Giraldo's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. A collision led to Modlau getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dawid Alaba hit a great ball. SMOCZANKA MIELEC made a substitution. Bernard Cytrynski replaced Bertil Ekström. Modlau's Lew Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Lewandowski in the 78th minute of play. Maksymilian Oliszewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarmo Laik's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After 79 minutes, Jarmo Laik made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Maksymilian Oliszewski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarmo Laik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maksymilian Oliszewski having to interfere. If Oscar Giraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Sylwester Klimkiewicz was substituted for Cezary Chrzan. In the 89th minute Oscar Giraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lew Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
