The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rosendo Seguinus was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Remus Vermeşan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Remus Vermeşan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 24th play minute Eduard Semeghin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 2-0. Aron Zgrăbunţa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Remus Vermeşan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A nice corner shot did that Eduard Semeghin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Rosendo Seguinus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Remus Vermeşan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The wind increased when Eduard Semeghin made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Seguinus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Felix Vărzaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Semeghin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Seguinus having to interfere. Patricio Costa took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Seguinus. Rosendo Seguinus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 75th minute Eduard Semeghin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Remus Vermeşan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remus Vermeşan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 94th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Zgrăbunţa in the 95th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ASF BAIA MARE -MM- fully deserved thier win.
