Mei Zhi Jun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Denimir Tzonkov came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruslan Rúklyov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience was convinced that Denimir Tzonkov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After 21 minutes, Denimir Tzonkov made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Isaac Constancio took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruslan Rúklyov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 41st minute of the match. Mehmet Bedri Vuralhan kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Denimir Tzonkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VN BAKITO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denimir Tzonkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, VN BAKITO's Denimir Tzonkov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute of the match VN BAKITO got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Blagoy Banovski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Blagoy Banovski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Ruslan Rúklyov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 55th minute of the match. Ruslan Rúklyov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, VN BAKITO's Ruslan Rúklyov got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 64th minute of play forced VN BAKITO's goalkeeper Ruslan Rúklyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mei Zhi Jun in the 67 minute of the game. In the 67th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruslan Rúklyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VN BAKITO's Ruslan Rúklyov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save VN BAKITO from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rusi Plochev in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77th minute Gerasim Berberov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blagoy Banovski hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. In the 89th match minute, VN BAKITO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blagoy Banovski to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Rafael Gallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruslan Rúklyov was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rusi Plochev went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, VN BAKITO's Ruslan Rúklyov got control of the ball when Rafael Gallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VN BAKITO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Peru had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
