This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Pedro Manzanares as he didn't even see the shot coming. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Jaktorowo in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 10th minute of play forced Janusze Futbolu's goalkeeper Peter-Michael Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter-Michael Schmeichel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Tagliafico, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After some careless play in the Janusze Futbolu defense, Axel Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter-Michael Schmeichel. The Janusze Futbolu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter-Michael Schmeichel should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Janusze Futbolu were furious when Roch Banan was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Janusze Futbolu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Colombia a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Axel Montenegro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel. 1-2. Guillermo Erosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. When Guillermo Erosa came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Janusze Futbolu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Erosa couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Orlando Tafalla hit a great ball. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Erosa in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Jaktorowo came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Çağdaş Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás Tagliafico in the 53rd minute of play. The corner led to Janusze Futbolu's Çağdaş Quaresma getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 57th minute, Norbert Jaktorowo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Guillermo Erosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. 91 minutes into the game, Guillermo Erosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Janusze Futbolu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
