Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Den Newland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barr Point's supporters crossed their fingers, but Den Newland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute, Louis Hudson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. CJ Street struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barr Point. Den Newland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jude Bonham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves CJ Street could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. In the 36th minute, Patricio Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jude Bonham was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 39th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jude Bonham was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Chris Bowler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If CJ Street had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Bonham having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Barr Point's CJ Street. But to his dismay, CJ Street quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 65 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when CJ Street came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Den Newland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute Chris Bowler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jamal Dobson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Barr Point's Owen Welsh. But to his dismay, Owen Welsh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. CJ Street recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Den Newland in the 96th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Barr Point players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
