In the 12th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Den Newland in the 14th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jude Bonham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 18th minute of the match. Terry Steele kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jude Bonham. Barr Point's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jude Bonham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Barr Point's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 32nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Barr Point booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barr Point's Jude Bonham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of play. CJ Street sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for CJ Street to strike the kick off in the second half. Jude Bonham was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 55 minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jude Bonham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Jude Bonham. Barr Point's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jude Bonham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 67 minutes into the match, Barr Point's goalkeeper Jude Bonham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. Jude Bonham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 68th minute of the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Barr Point getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Chris Bowler hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Barr Point defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jude Bonham. The Barr Point fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jude Bonham should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Den Newland in the 80th minute of play. Jude Bonham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Barr Point's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jude Bonham in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from CJ Street, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Den Newland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
