Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Owen Welsh in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jude Bonham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Den Newland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Barr Point's CJ Street got a free kick in the 21st minute. Den Newland succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keanu Ely in the 30th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barr Point were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. CJ Street took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Louis Hudson. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Den Newland took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After having played for 41 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jude Bonham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when CJ Street made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Den Newland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Den Newland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 63rd match minute, Barr Point was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis Hudson to maneuver through the defense. Jude Bonham made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Chris Bowler might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chris Bowler ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Barr Point's goalkeeper Jude Bonham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 86th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Bonham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barr Point's Jude Bonham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Barr Point getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Louis Hudson hit a great ball. Louis Hudson made in the 89th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Owen Welsh immediately put the ball in play. 91 minutes into the game, Barr Point's Keanu Ely nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 96 minutes into the match, Barr Point's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Jude Bonham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
