An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Asklund in the 14th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Emil Alebom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kåre Asklund in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Felipe Ros hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rudi Stegeman. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kåre Asklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 35th minute Ludwig Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Alebom having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Alebom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Loosers's Ludwig Ström in 57 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Marcos Cotilla guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 62 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Sarmiento. In the 63rd minute of the match Rudi Stegeman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kåre Asklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Ludwig Ström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Dag Juhlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abraham Alguacil struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Emil Alebom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Isidoro Sarmiento's late challenge caught a FC Loosers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Sarmiento helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Asklund in the 89th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
