Luix Nicola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of the match. Ríver Late's Luix Nicola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Camilo Terrilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luix Nicola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play forced Ríver Late's goalkeeper Luix Nicola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luix Nicola came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luix Nicola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Luix Nicola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chesus Jusino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 36 in the game by Osoitz Baron from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Luix Nicola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute Emenon Borrego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Luix Nicola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chesus Jusino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The Ríver Late players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. A collision led to Ríver Late getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Xizavier Cladera hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luix Nicola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luix Nicola came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 61st minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luix Nicola having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute of play forced Ríver Late's goalkeeper Luix Nicola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 played minutes Ríver Late got a freekick which was hit by Chesus Jusino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osoitz Baron in the 72nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes, Luis Andino made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Ríver Late's Luix Nicola tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 76 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luix Nicola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Luix Nicola made a huge save. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Desiderio Pan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ríver Late's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Ecuador made a substitution. Diego Mancebo replaced Cristian Sancho. A collision led to Ríver Late getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Desiderio Pan hit a great ball. Luix Nicola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Mancebo in the 89th minute of play. Diego Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luix Nicola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 93 played minutes Ríver Late got a freekick which was hit by Xizavier Cladera. Luix Nicola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Mancebo in the 96th minute. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
