Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markus Wenerdahl in the 11th minute. A collision led to MaLe FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Arixo Urbiso hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, MaLe FC's Markus Wenerdahl dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Markus Wenerdahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Markus Wenerdahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Markus Wenerdahl got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joel Alén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Luque in the 35th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markus Wenerdahl in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Umberto Nunes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ricardo Zorita. The goal made the score 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, MaLe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Joel Alén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, MaLe FC's Ante Rebić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Arixo Urbiso managed to get in a good position for a shot. MaLe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arixo Urbiso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Nunes in the 63rd minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Umberto Nunes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Markus Wenerdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Markus Wenerdahl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Valentino Ferrant's late challenge caught a MaLe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentino Ferrant helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Valentino Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. August Målare got a throw-in 74 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ante Rebić. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from August Målare went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the match, Umberto Nunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Umberto Nunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. Markus Wenerdahl might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Markus Wenerdahl ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of MaLe FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Curbelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ante Rebić in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arixo Urbiso in the 93rd minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, one of El Salvador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Salvador. MaLe FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
