In the 7th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Leoz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Mexico booed when Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliusz Jurgiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Treviño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Treviño read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Wojciech Nocny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wojciech Nocny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. The supporters of Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Agustin Mattin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egon Lepisk went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Aureliusz Jurgiel hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Egon Lepisk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lautaro Mancebo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orhan Veli Şevki to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 32nd minute of play forced Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Treviño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wojciech Nocny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. In the 39th minute Egon Lepisk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. In the 43rd minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Treviño was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Egon Lepisk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Gaona received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Treviño came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel Gaona slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Jonathan Treviño was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Treviño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 63rd minute of the match. Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's Jonathan Treviño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Treviño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Treviño when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's Heraclides Palma got a free kick in the 91st minute. Heraclides Palma hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Jonathan Treviño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 95th minute. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
