After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Lucas Beltran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The referee showed Rosendo Colon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Crisólia FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Colon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Ernani Baiano sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Toscano having to make a save. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Rony Félix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Rosendo Colon kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Crisólia FBPA's goalkeeper Ismael Toscano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Beltran in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rosendo Colon was slow to take the kick. During this time Crisólia FBPA's players had a chance to rest. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Beltran. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Toscano having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ernani Baiano took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Crisólia FBPA getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rodriguinho Diniz hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Toscano skillfully saved the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rony Félix 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ismael Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 52 minutes into the match, Crisólia FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Ismael Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Toscano saved Crisólia FBPA from getting behind. Ismael Toscano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes Crisólia FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Colon. 62 minutes into the game, Ernani Baiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Lucas Beltran notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Toscano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Toscano having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Félix in the 92nd minute of play.
