Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Panama's Tomas Berganza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamin Mazza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Messias in the 11th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toninho Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Benjamin Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dylan Sarmiento fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Dylan Sarmiento a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rockets booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ronaldo Gol showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. In the 28th minute, Abraham Alguacil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Mazza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 32 minutes, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Alguacil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34thth minute of the game Abraham Alguacil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rockets's Benjamin Mazza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benjamin Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 36th minute of the match. Miguel Miralles took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Mazza. Benjamin Mazza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 45th minute, Aaron Barrios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Mazza having to interfere. After the first half Panama were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Róbson Messias was the one to do the kick off. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rockets's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Mazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dylan Sarmiento got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 64 played minutes, Rockets's Samuca Carneiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rockets reached it. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Benjamin Mazza didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 66th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Benjamin Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Miguel Miralles came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Miralles couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, Gilvan Chaves notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 91 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Benjamin Mazza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Panama's Felipe Ros got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute Róbson Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
