A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Júlio Pires with Gilvan Chaves as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Abelardo Rocha hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Mazza having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Tafalla in the 84th minute of play forced Rockets's goalkeeper Benjamin Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
