Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Róbson Messias kicked off to start the match. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Róbson Messias sent off a good shot on target. Gilvan Chaves scored 2-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 16 minutes, Júlio Pires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rockets and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Júlio Pires hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 19th match minute, Rockets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Gol to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Róbson Messias put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 27th minute, Róbson Messias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Gilvan Chaves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Gilvan Chaves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Gilvan Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilvan Chaves in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute of the match Lautaro Puig sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamin Mazza skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Róbson Messias tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Benjamin Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 minutes, Raí da Silveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rockets and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raí da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Benjamin Mazza made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. Benjamin Mazza came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Axel Tasis. But to his dismay, Axel Tasis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Axel Tasis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benjamin Mazza came out and tried to block the shot, but Axel Tasis slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 62nd minute. When Eliseo Noboa came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Noboa couldn't finish the play. After 68 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Rockets players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Rockets's Róbson Messias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Messias in the 78th minute of play. Rockets's Júlio Pires got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Júlio Pires off the ground. After a rather tough play, Rockets's Júlio Pires got a free kick in the 85th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbson Messias in the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Toninho Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rockets's supporters rose to their feet, but Toninho Terra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rockets's Ronaldo Gol got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Rockets players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
