Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 4th minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilbert Podolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pogoń Stawiszyn's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Podolski came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Julian Kossakowski in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. 13 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Pilipiec came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Kazimierz Dylla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Gilbert Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 28th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 33rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilbert Podolski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, Kazimierz Dylla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ryszard Pilipiec made a kick off. When Radoslaw Trojanowski came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Pogoń Stawiszyn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radoslaw Trojanowski couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Trojanowski in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 55th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Gibowski in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Radoslaw Trojanowski broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Podolski having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Chicote in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pogoń Stawiszyn's Jacek Kolbe. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radoslaw Trojanowski in the 79th minute of the match. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilbert Podolski having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryszard Pilipiec went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the game, Witold Gibowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 92 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Pogoń Stawiszyn players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Julian Kossakowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Pogoń Stawiszyn were the better team. Pogoń Stawiszyn's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
