Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Treviño having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Orhan Veli Şevki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Treviño quite easily take care of the ball. In the 25th match minute, Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Mazza to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jonathan Treviño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Treviño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Wojciech Nocny sent off a good shot on target. Wojciech Nocny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Egon Lepisk to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gaona. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wojciech Nocny in the 53rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egon Lepisk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Luque lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mexico! Wojciech Nocny walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Leonardo Leoz hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Wojciech Nocny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute Wojciech Nocny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Egon Lepisk in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's Heraclides Palma got a free kick in the 67th minute. Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's Jonathan Treviño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Treviño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jonathan Treviño made a huge save. After 77 played minutes Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Augustyn. Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's Wilfredo Eleazar was substituted for Agustin Mattin. The supporters of Mexico booed when Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Augustyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Treviño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. In the 93rd minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
