Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Steinmetz. 29 minutes into the match, I Dont CopyXML Tactics's Mario Steinmetz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Steinmetz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonny Bernard in the 38th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Steinmetz hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Tonny Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antônio Carlos Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Marcos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Santo Marcos in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's attack was well implemented in the 73rd minute, but when Daniel Zorita was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by I Dont CopyXML Tactics's Dobromir Dankowski. But to his dismay, Dobromir Dankowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute Dobromir Dankowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Dankowski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 minutes of play, I Dont CopyXML Tactics's Dobromir Dankowski made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there!
