The supporters of ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! Julio Vera had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Niels Vandamme's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. William Andries took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. William Andries could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Agustín Saelices got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-1. 25 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, William Andries dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 5-1. ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Dani Vassaras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of play. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when William Andries scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 6-1. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dani Vassaras was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for William Andries to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, William Andries cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dani Vassaras was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Andries in the 60th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, William Andries quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. William Andries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Andries, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Armando Felipillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Andries in the 81st minute of play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Dani Vassaras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. With a couple of smart ball manuevers William Andries in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After 85 minutes of play, ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's William Andries made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! William Andries might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. William Andries ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Andries in the 94th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
