Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute of the match Cabildo FC got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Liberto Millar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cabildo FC's Aaron Erazo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Gaspar Peseiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Cabildo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Patricio Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cabildo FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Liberto Millar took the corner. In the 18th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Gaspar Peseiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Peseiro in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Constancio Binder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Peseiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constancio Binder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Mina during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. Liberto Millar shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Toledo. Patricio Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Gaspar Peseiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Patricio Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Åkesson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Patricio Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. 68 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patricio Toledo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Peseiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Eguen kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 84 minutes, Aaron Erazo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cabildo FC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cabildo FC's Aaron Erazo got a free kick in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Patricio Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Cabildo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
