Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Amedeo Vitucci got free with Julio Vera in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 2 minutes of play, Águilas Poblanas's Amedeo Vitucci made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Alexandros Ismael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandros Ismael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Águilas Poblanas's Ciro Matai got a free kick in the 10th minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Águilas Poblanas's Amedeo Vitucci got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 14th play minutes Daniel Zorita shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Alexandros Ismael and just under the crossbar into goal. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Amedeo Vitucci sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Eusebio Beltran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Águilas Poblanas's Alexandros Ismael. Alexandros Ismael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Águilas Poblanas's Alexandros Ismael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. Juan Sebastián Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandros Ismael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amedeo Vitucci. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Vitucci came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Eusebio Beltran might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusebio Beltran ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Amedeo Vitucci notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Andino's late challenge caught a Águilas Poblanas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Andino helped the player get up and apologised. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandros Ismael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Eusebio Beltran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Águilas Poblanas booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Águilas Poblanas's Virgilio Txindoki was substituted for Amedeo Vitucci. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Epifanio Intxixu hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Carlo Ciolli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlo Ciolli went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Águilas Poblanas made a substitution. Jacinto Galeno replaced Carlo Ciolli. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Eusebio Beltran put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Txindoki in the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Eusebio Beltran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Txindoki in the 90th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Txindoki, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Jacinto Galeno made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Alexandros Ismael made a huge save. The Águilas Poblanas support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
