Willy Van Linthout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Joseph Neels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bruly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Neels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joseph Neels. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willy Van Linthout breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. After 41 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bruly's Willy Van Linthout tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Neels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

After having played for 55 minutes, Joseph Neels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bruly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Neels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute Luckas Cromefeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Jonathan Venegas in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bruly's Alek Thys. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Willy Van Linthout quite easily take care of the ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Willy Van Linthout made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruly's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute, Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bruly fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Venezuela succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bruly had controlled the match.
