In the 17th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aivo Pärjasaar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play forced Dulwich Hamlet BK's goalkeeper Aivo Pärjasaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niclas Haström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Dulwich Hamlet BK's Niclas Haström got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Sten Røiland made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aivo Pärjasaar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aivo Pärjasaar quite easily take care of the ball. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Aivo Pärjasaar made a huge save. Edmund Dalgren hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aivo Pärjasaar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute Ciro Di Marzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Ciro Di Marzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro Di Marzio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Aivo Pärjasaar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aivo Pärjasaar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 83 minutes into the match, Dulwich Hamlet BK's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Aivo Pärjasaar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Dulwich Hamlet BK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sten Røiland hit a great ball. Dulwich Hamlet BK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
