The supporters of AdanaDemirSpor booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AdanaDemirSpor the free kick. In the 7th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, İldeniz Seylan made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 13th minute, Varol Ufuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. AdanaDemirSpor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Costa Rica's corner Axel Tasis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lokman Taşkan quite easily take care of the ball. AdanaDemirSpor were furious when Soner Kurtaran was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 26th match minute, AdanaDemirSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Soner Kurtaran to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 27th minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özcan Onal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lokman Taşkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Alcocer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, AdanaDemirSpor's Özcan Onal got a free kick in the 36th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barbaros Celvet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özcan Onal in the 52nd minute of the match. Axel Tasis might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lokman Taşkan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Tasis ran back to his position shaking his head. Özcan Onal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. AdanaDemirSpor were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. İldeniz Seylan took the corner. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barbaros Celvet in the 66th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match, Axel Tasis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lokman Taşkan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. İldeniz Seylan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özcan Onal in the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Lokman Taşkan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. İldeniz Seylan might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İldeniz Seylan ran back to his position shaking his head. AdanaDemirSpor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
