Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Lacasa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vykans Vikingar's Ingmar Stenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 4th minute of play. Thiago Pliego was a little too slow when Bengt-Arne Haglund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 18 minutes Vykans Vikingar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Chile's Xavier Figueroa getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingmar Stenberg. Vykans Vikingar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingmar Stenberg having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingmar Stenberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Berart to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Jose Indalecio got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ingmar Stenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Fontirroig in the 32nd minute of play. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Garrido to maneuver through the defense. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elliott Bogren hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Vykans Vikingar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mariano Lacasa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vykans Vikingar's Ingmar Stenberg did a great save. When Bengt-Arne Haglund came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Vykans Vikingar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Arne Haglund couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Arne Haglund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Mats Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Ingmar Stenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. After 56 played minutes Mariano Lacasa rounded Vykans Vikingar's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. 59 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingmar Stenberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 59 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Jose Indalecio. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Haglund came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Ingmar Stenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Ingmar Stenberg made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Orlando Casaus sent off a good shot on target. Bengt-Arne Haglund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vykans Vikingar's Abdi Revis was substituted for Hugo Eden. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Casaus got free with Ingmar Stenberg in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ingmar Stenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Indiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ingmar Stenberg. Ingmar Stenberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3.
