Hans-Joachim Amerhauser came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Hans-Joachim Amerhauser managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Karl-Michael Almqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Edgar Ciolofan's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Ciolofan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Forza Heppenbach's Edgar Ciolofan got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Forza Heppenbach.
