Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Torjus Fjellheim kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Sebald Gentiletti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Nøttveit in the 8th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Torjus Fjellheim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torjus Fjellheim got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torjus Fjellheim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 18th minute Alf Nøttveit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torjus Fjellheim came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alf Nøttveit in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Suleskard booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Edvin Hilde. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alf Nøttveit took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Alf Nøttveit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Kenneth Rognerud made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Daniel Mauseth however managed to control. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Torjus Fjellheim to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torjus Fjellheim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Nøttveit in the 63rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torjus Fjellheim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Suleskard were awarded a corner. Edvin Hilde went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Torjus Fjellheim. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 76th minute, Alf Nøttveit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torjus Fjellheim in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 83 minutes, Kenneth Rognerud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suleskard and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. 88 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Rocky Ryland came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebald Gentiletti was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Patricio Costa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patricio Costa really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Rocky Ryland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Suleskard's Torjus Fjellheim. But to his dismay, Torjus Fjellheim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. There was no doubt that Suleskard were the better team. Suleskard's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
