Eurico lago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. FC Beatriz 08's Eurico lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pepe Bomba came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the FC Beatriz 08 fans jumped to their feet. After a rather tough play, FC Beatriz 08's Rui Eanes got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
