Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Anthony Bellucci sent off a good shot on target. Ren Mur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ren Mur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Anthony Bellucci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The South Park fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 26 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Bellucci came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Ren Mur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Månsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute of the match South Park got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anthony Bellucci ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, South Park's Per-Olof Örtendal got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The free kick resulted in a very good chance to score when Per-Olof Örtendal kicked a really tricky shot on goal. Julio Vera never had to step in, however, because the ball went just left of the goal. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Felix Sercombe scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-1. 46 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anthony Bellucci. After having played for 48 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ren Mur in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind South Park's goalkeeper Ren Mur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Felix Sercombe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, South Park's goalkeeper Ren Mur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 61stth minute of the game Felix Sercombe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ren Mur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Paul Månsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The South Park fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. South Park made a substitution. Olof Söderberg replaced Einar Lund. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Ren Mur in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes in the game, Felix Montenegro dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. South Park's Krister Christoffersson was substituted for Paul Månsson. South Park's Ren Mur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Bellucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. South Park made a substitution. Erik Abrahamsson replaced Roy Pettersson. In the 88th minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and South Park's Ren Mur didn't even have to move. When the referee blew the final whistle, South Park could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
