Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when David Talamanca took the kick off in the first half of the match. David Talamanca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 2ndth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. David Talamanca's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Talamanca was slow to take the kick. During this time OROTINENSE's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a free kick in the 6th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Walczak came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by OROTINENSE's David Talamanca. But to his dismay, David Talamanca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alfonso Rulli charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Rulli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfonso Rulli hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, David Talamanca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Talamanca in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Walczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite this Liu Yong Yong quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 40 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Talamanca in the 51st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Talamanca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liu Yong Yong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 59 minutes of play, OROTINENSE's David Talamanca made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st match minute, OROTINENSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Medina to maneuver through the defense. Juraj Múdry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of OROTINENSE booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. OROTINENSE's Nuno Orihuela was substituted for Jesus Cortez. In the 74th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by OROTINENSE's David Talamanca. But to his dismay, David Talamanca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The throw-in from Alfonso Rulli in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Talamanca in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, OROTINENSE's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. OROTINENSE's Iordache Opincaru got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. OROTINENSE had played much better football throughout.
